Flower Heart Wedding Card

I should have named my blog “Confessions of a Punchaholic” or “My Punches and Me”, because I HEART punches! Literally… look at my latest project, “The Flower Heart Wedding Card”, and tell me it’s not true :)

Seriously, I use my punches way more than I use stamps. You could probably tell that by looking at my pictures. And I don’t have a whole bunch of them, but whatever I have I try to use them to their maximum potential.

No need to say that the Trio Flower punch from Stampin Up! is one of my favorite ones.

For my wedding card, I used it to punch out the flowers to make a heart (15 flowers out of the Blush Blossom designer series paper, 6 out of the Bridesmaid paper and 3 out of the Bride specialty paper; 24 total). To add some shimmering accent to the Blush Blossom flowers, I sprayed them with the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch spray, and decorated with 5-mm pearls.
To make the pearl heart, I used the Heart to Heart punch, 3-mm pearls, and of course – dimensionals!

Difficulty: Medium

Card dimensions: 5 x 5"

Stamps (Stampin Up!): Oval All (front), Yummy (inside);

Ink (Stampin Up!): Close to Cocoa;

Paper (Stampin’ Up!):
Bridesmaid specialty paper (retired), Bride specialty paper (retired), Blush Blossom designer series paper (retired),  Blush Blossom textured card stock (retired);

Embellishments: Basic Pearls (Stampin’ Up!), ivory satin ribbon

Tools (Stampin Up!): Trio Flower punch, Heart to Heart punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, Scallop Trim Corner punch, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz®, dimensionals, glue dots.
